ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (August 7, 2017) — Tampa Bay Rowdies fans have selected Marcel Schäfer as their Man of the Match for his performance in the Rowdies’ 3-0 win over the Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday night.
Schäfer tallied two assists, setting up Martin Paterson and Walter Restrepo, to take the team lead in assists with six this season. Schäfer also completed 72 passes with an incredible accuracy of 97.4 percent, both team-highs.
