ST. PETERSBURG, FL – On Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Rowdies announced that Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution have recalled Ryan Spaulding from his loan.
Spaulding arrived in Tampa Bay in late April and made his Rowdies debut in the club’s away trip to San Diego Loyal SC. The 24-year-old made 9 appearances in USL Championship play for the Rowdies, notching two goals and four assists from out on Tampa Bay’s left wing. Spaulding’s standout performances earned him USL Championship Team of the Week honors twice and a Player of the Month nomination in May.
Unbeaten in their last eight matches, the Rowdies travel to take on Loudoun United this Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
