On the eve of the 2023 USL Championship season, the Tampa Bay Rowdies have announced new additions to matchdays at Al Lang Stadium. With the changes, the Rowdies aim to enhance the overall matchday experience for all fans.
“Whether it’s pre-game outside of Al Lang Stadium or during the 90 minutes on the field, the Rowdies are continually looking to improve the experience of everyone who visits our stadium,” said Rowdies COO Ryan Helfrick. “We look forward to our fans experiencing all the enhancements that have been made inside and outside Al Lang in the offseason. Our fans deserve a top-class and entertaining environment, and we’re constantly working to provide that every time our fans come to Al Lang.”
Rowdies Pre-Game Fan Zone
The Rowdies are excited to introduce the Pre-Game Fan Zone for the new season. From 5:30 to 7:30 outside of Gate 2 at every home match this year, fans are invited to a party atmosphere. The Rowdies Fan Zone features a DJ, face painters for young fans, interactive soccer games for fans of all ages, shaved ice from the club’s new partner Kona Ice, and many more activities.
Concessions
For fans with a serious sweet tooth, the Rowdies are happy to welcome Cookie Fueled Mama to Al Lang for the new year. Stop by and try Cookie Fueled Mama’s small-batch gourmet cookies inside Al Lang at the top of the Gate 2 ramp.
The Rowdies have also added Grab & Go concessions locations to purchase non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages across midfield concessions, and behind sections 113 and section 100 on the main Al Lang concourse. Fans can pick up their items at Grab & Go stations and head straight to a register to check out.
Merchandise
The Bay Republic has a new and improved home inside Al Lang. Fans can now shop for their Rowdies gear from The Bay Republic in a climate controlled location in the midfield section.
Season Ticket Holder Discounts
For the first time, Rowdies season ticket holders will receive discounts at selection concessions locations in addition to their discount on merchandise at all retail locations. Season tickets holders will receive a Rowdies Digital Pass to redeem their 20% discounts. This digital pass is for mobile access only.
