ST PETERSBURG, FL (July 14, 2017)— The Tampa Bay Rowdies are proud to announce a new partnership with Seats of Dreams, giving season ticket members an easy way to donate unused tickets to a variety of non-profit children’s organizations. Through this partnership local children will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of Rowdies soccer at Al Lang Stadium.
A donation of at least two Rowdies single-game tickets can be donated no less than 24 hours prior to a game. There is no charge for donating tickets to Seats of Dreams and donated tickets will be provided to local charities that serve children and families. Academy Prep, All Children’s Hospital Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Club, CASA, the Children’s Dream Fund, and the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg are among the dozens of local charities targeted for this program.
“Many of our season ticket holders have expressed a desire to see their unused tickets go to good use,” said Rowdies principal owner Bill Edwards. “Seats of Dreams is a simple, convenient way to get tickets into the hands of kids in our community that might not otherwise have an opportunity to come to a match. It’s definitely a win-win for everyone involved.”
To donate tickets, season ticket holders simply log into their Tampa Bay Rowdies Account Manager, select a match, and click on the Donate Tickets icon. Season ticket holders who donate their tickets will receive an email tax receipt for their donation from Seats of Dreams, a non-profit 501(c)(3).
