ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – In conjunction with the USL Championship and Monterey Bay FC, the Tampa Bay Rowdies announced today that the match between the two clubs scheduled for Saturday at Monterey’s Cardinale Stadium has been postponed to Sunday, October 2 due to travel issues related to Hurricane Ian.
The match will kick off at 10 p.m. ET and will be available to stream on ESPN+.
This is the second schedule change for the Rowdies due to Hurricane Ian. Tampa Bay’s home matchup versus El Paso Locomotive FC previously scheduled for Wednesday, September 28 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Al Lang Stadium.
Tampa Bay’s next home matchup will be against Loudoun United FC on Saturday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Rowdies will also celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night at Al Lang on the evening of their matchup versus Loudoun.
