ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (May 19, 2016) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies will begin their Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup journey at Al Lang Stadium against the USL’s FC Cincinnati on Wednesday, June 1 in a Third Round match. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The U.S. Open Cup is the longest-running competition in American soccer, with the 2016 edition marking the 103rd year of play. It is a bracketed knockout tournament featuring teams from all levels, both professional and amateur.
Tickets are complimentary for all 2016 Tampa Bay Rowdies season ticket holders, but YOU MUST call (727) 222-2000 to confirm your seat reservation.
If seats are unclaimed at 6 p.m. ET on Monday, May 30, they will be released to the general public. At that time season ticket holders will still have access to complimentary tickets elsewhere in the stadium.

FC Cincinnati advanced to the Third Round on Wednesday night with a home 2-1 win over Indy Eleven NPSL. FC Cincinnati is 5-2-2 (W-T-L) this season in the third-division USL, sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference. The team is coached by former U.S. Men’s National Team player John Harkes.
