ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Aug. 6, 2026) – Today, the St. Petersburg City Council unanimously approved a one-year extension of the Tampa Bay Rowdies agreement to manage and operate Al Lang Stadium as the primary tenants of the venue through November of 2027.
The Rowdies released the following statement on the St Petersburg City Council’s extension:
The Tampa Bay Rowdies appreciate the St. Petersburg City Council’s approval of the lease extension at Al Lang Stadium through 2027.
As we continue setting records on the field and pursuing our goal of bringing a championship to Tampa Bay this year, we are excited to begin looking ahead to our 17th season at Al Lang Stadium in 2027. We are proud to serve as stewards of one of Tampa Bay’s most cherished venues and deliver an unforgettable matchday experience for our fans while creating enduring memories for the community.
