The Rowdies are honored to open Al Lang Stadium again for our 5th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in memory of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Every year, thousands of first responders around the country participate in 9/11 Stair Climbs, climbing 110 stories or walking 2,200 steps, the equivalent height of the former World Trade Center towers.
Registration for the stair climb at Al Lang is free and open to all first responders and military members who wish to participate. All participants in this year’s climb will also receive a complimentary ticket to the Rowdies First Responders Night match versus Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday, September 13.
Event Info
Parking – Please note that parking is not included in registration for the climb. All participants will need to pay for parking in the stadium lot or a nearby parking garage. For a list of parking options, please visit rowdiessoccer.com/parking.
Security Check-In – All participants will check in and go through a security screening at Gate 6 located on the 1st St S side of the stadium. Off-duty first responders are not permitted to bring any weapons inside the stadium.
Hydration – Water will be provided at the event, but participants may also bring their own water bottles.
