Rowdies Notes
The Tampa Bay Rowdies arrive in the Circle City on a season-long three game winning streak after a 3-0 win over the Richmond Kickers at home on Saturday night. Three different players (Hunter Gorskie, Jaime Chavez and Junior Flemmings) scored second-half goals for the Rowdies.

The Rowdies are one of the hottest teams in the USL with four wins in their last five matches. Only FC Cincinnati (5) and Phoenix Rising FC (4) have picked up as many wins as Tampa Bay in their last five games.

If the Rowdies win in Indianapolis, it would set a new Modern Era club record for wins in a month with five. It would tie the record for points in a month at 15, previously set in May of 2010 when the Rowdies went 4-0-3 (W-L-T) for 2.14 ppg. This month’s ppg would eclipse that record at 2.5 ppg by virtue of playing one fewer match.

Georgi Hristov is not expected to travel with the team this week after exiting Saturday night’s win with a knee injury in the 70th minute. The extent of that injury is not yet known.

Jaime Chavez marked his green and gold debut with a goal Saturday night after sitting on the bench for the previous two matches without entering the match.

Hunter Gorskie was named to the USL Team of the Week on Tuesday after leading the Rowdies to a pair of wins last weekend.
