ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 31, 2018) — With a perfect record so far in 2018, the Tampa Bay Rowdies face a tough early season test this weekend with a visit to the defending USL Champions in Louisville City FC.

Saturday will be the busiest day in USL history, with 15 matches kickoff off between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET. Here are some of the biggest matches of the weekend.

Louisville City FC opened the season with a 2-0 home win over expansion side Nashville SC, but had an unplanned bye week last week due the postponement of its match against North Carolina FC due to unplayable field conditions in Louisville.

Tampa Bay has looked good in its first two matches, but still has plenty of lingering concerns about its ability to perform away from Al Lang Stadium. A result Saturday against a good team and on a notoriously difficult field to play on would start to answer some of those questions.

Indy won its USL debut last week in Richmond, but should face a much more difficult task this week against its new midwest rival. This will be Indy’s first match in its new home venue, Lucas Oil Stadium.

FC Cincinnati picked up a road win over Charleston on opening weekend before sitting out last weekend on a bye. It’s clash in Indianapolis should tell a lot about both teams.

Like the Rowdies, Charlotte has posted two wins in two matches, beating Ottawa Fury FC 4-1 and then Toronto FC II 2-0.

Atlanta plays its first-ever road game after a successful debut last weekend when it topped New York Red Bulls II 3-1.
