ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (July 20, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies will take their final regular season shot at the Charleston Battery on Saturday night in one of the biggest matches of the weekend in the Eastern Conference. Tampa Bay has lost to the Eastern Conference leaders twice this season, but has one more shot to make a statement.

Tampa Bay Rowdies vs. Charleston Battery

Tampa Bay has had a slight uptick in form after a rough stretch in June, winning once and drawing once in its last two matches. The Rowdies added winger Walter Restrepo ahead of this match to address some depth concerns and add another dynamic attacker.
Charleston will be without the USL’s leading scorer, Romario Williams, but still has plenty of potency in its attack. The Battery is coming off a 1-0 loss in Saint Louis last weekend.
FC Cincinnati vs. Harrisburg City Islanders

FC Cincinnati welcomes Harrisburg to Nippert Stadium in an intriguing match between two potential playoff teams. Cincinnati sits in sixth place in the East and has lost just twice since the start of June.
Harrisburg heads to Ohio in good form as well, having won four of its last six games to move into eighth place in the East, just inside the playoff bubble.
Saint Louis vs. Louisville City FC

Saint Louis has been one of the more disappointing teams in the East, sitting in 13th place out of 15 teams, but managed a surprising win over Charleston last week. Preki’s side will try to take out another of the East’s top teams this weekend.
Louisville was beaten at home by its closest rival last weekend, falling 3-2 to FC Cincinnati, but still sits in third in the East, just ahead of the Rowdies.
