Here's a look at how the Eastern Conference matches we highlighted in our preview last week ended up.

Charleston Battery 1 - 0 Richmond Kickers
MUSC Health Stadium, Charleston, S.C.

Despite being reduced to 10 men in the first half due to Romario Williams' red card, Charleston still went on to beat a hapless Richmond side. The win gives the Battery a three-point cushion over the Rowdies, but Tampa Bay has a game in hand.

FC Cincinnati 4 - 2 New York Red Bulls II
Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio

Four different players scored for Cincinnati as they powered to a big win despite having only 35 percent possession. Cincinnati still trails the Rowdies by two points and Tampa Bay has two matches in hand.

Pittsburgh Riverhounds 1 - 1 Rochester Rhinos
Highmark Stadium, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Despite conceding in the 90th minute, Pittsburgh still earned a point against the Rhinos, giving the Rowdies a big boost. Rochester no longer has any games in hand over Tampa Bay and leads the Rowdies by only two points.
