ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (August 7, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies picked up their third-straight win Saturday night, dominating the Harrisburg City Islanders 3-0 via goals from Neill Collins, Martin Paterson and Walter Restrepo. The win moved the Rowdies to within two points of the new Eastern Conference leaders, the Charlotte Independence.

Tampa Bay Rowdies 3 - 0 Harrisburg City Islanders

The Rowdies controlled the match from start to finish, comfortably winning their first-ever contest against Harrisburg. German midfielder Marcel Schäfer ran the show, tallying two assists.
New York Red Bulls II 2 - 1 Rochester Rhinos
MSU Soccer Park, Montclair, N.J.
New York outlasted Rochester in a wild match that featured three red cards. The Rhinos ended the match with nine men. Arun Basuljevic and Stefano Bonomo scored the Red Bulls' goals. Wal Fall converted a penalty for the short-handed Rhinos, but it wasn't enough to steal a point.
Charlotte Independence 3 - 1 Louisville City FC
Sportsplex at Matthews, Matthews, N.C.
An Enzo Martinez hat trick carried the Independence past Louisville and into first place in the Eastern Conference after Charleston's defeat in Toronto. Martinez was subsequently sent off following his third goal for excessive celebration.
