ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (August 3, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies host the Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday night with a chance to close out a perfect three-game home stand and keep the pressure on teams above them in the Eastern Conference standings.

Here are some of the key matches taking place around the Eastern Conference this weekend…

Tampa Bay Rowdies vs. Harrisburg City Islanders

Rowdies goalkeeper Matt Pickens could make his 100th appearance for the club as the Rowdies look to extend their four-game unbeaten run.

Harrisburg is coming off a scoreless draw against Orlando City B on Wednesday night. Saturday’s match will be the City Islanders’ seventh game since July 8.

New York Red Bulls II vs. Rochester Rhinos
Saturday, August 5, 4 p.m. | WATCH HERE

New York, the defending USL champions, currently sit in eighth place, but face heavy competition for the last spot in the playoff field. The Red Bulls are even on points with Ottawa, Harrisburg and Orlando, but hold the last spot via tiebreakers.

Rochester is on a six-game unbeaten run and sits just two points behind the Rowdies in the standings, though the Rhinos have two games in hand.

Charlotte Independence vs. Louisville City FC
Saturday, August 5, 7 p.m. | WATCH HERE

The two teams directly ahead of the Rowdies in the standings face off this weekend. Charlotte is unbeaten in 10 matches, including seven wins in that stretch.

Louisville City FC has won back-to-back matches heading into this weekend’s clash in North Carolina.
