ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (July 31, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies continued their fine form over the weekend, beating the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2-0 on Saturday night, courtesy of an Alex Morrell brace.

Tampa Bay Rowdies 2 - 0 Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Al Lang Stadium, St. Petersburg, Fla.

Alex Morrell scored a goal in each half and Matt Pickens posted his third clean sheet in four matches as the Rowdies moved within three points of the top of the Eastern Conference.

Bethlehem Steel FC 0 - 4 Charlotte Independence
Goodman Stadium, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

The home team got whitewashed by red-hot Charlotte, with the Independence scoring twice in each half to ease to a road win.

FC Cincinnati 2 - 3 Rochester Rhinos
Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio

FC Cincinnati slipped to sixth place in the East in controversial fashion with a home loss to the Rhinos. Cincinnati conceded two penalty kicks and finished with 10 men and had a bench player dismissed.
