ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (June 22, 2017) — The Tampa Bay Rowdies are in Pittsburgh for a weeknight matchup against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. This is the Rowdies’ first match against Pittsburgh since the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Here’s some of the key matches taking place around the Eastern Conference this weekend…

Pittsburgh Riverhounds vs. Tampa Bay Rowdies
Thursday, June 22, 7 p.m. | WATCH HERE

Pittsburgh enters this match on a five-game winless streak in USL play, plus a Second Round U.S. Open Cup loss to amateur side Chicago FC United. The Riverhounds sit in 11th place in the Eastern Conference heading into the match.

The Rowdies are on a winless streak of their own, having played five league matches without a win, though they were close to breaking the streak last weekend. Tampa Bay lead Richmond deep into stoppage time last week before conceding.

Charleston Battery vs. Toronto FC II
Saturday, June 24, 7 p.m. | WATCH HERE

Charleston shows no sign of slowing down, particularly this weekend against Toronto FC II. The Battery leads the Eastern Conference by three points heading into the weekend.

Toronto FC II no longer sits at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table, but it still has the worst goal differential in the conference at -11.

Harrisburg City Islanders vs. Louisville City FC
Saturday, June 24, 7 p.m. | WATCH HERE

Harrisburg has lost four-straight USL matches by a combined score of 7-1 heading into this weekend’s match against red-hot Louisville.

Louisville City FC is unbeaten in five USL matches, including four wins to surge past the Rowdies into second place in the East.
