Tampa Bay led in the first half, but conceded twice in the final five minutes of the first half to trail 2-1 at halftime. Tampa Bay went to an all-out attack and leveled the match just after the hour mark and looked likely to score a winner before the Battery’s Brian Tah Anunga scored in the 89th minute.

Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio

Brian Ownby put Louisville City ahead in the 20th minute and the lead lasted for a long time until former Louisville midfielder Aodhan Quinn equalized for Cincinnati in the 78th minute. Cincinnati forward Djiby Fall was shown a red card in the 87th minute, the third time in four matches Cincinnati has had a player dismissed.

Saint Louis FC 1 – 2 Charlotte Independence
Toyota Stadium, Saint Louis, Missouri

Saint Louis started the match well, scoring in the 4th minute, but Charlotte stormed back to take 2-1 lead within 25 minutes and never looked back, securing the Independence’s first win of the season.
