2012 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Street Team Members

The Tampa Bay Rowdies are seeking exciting, outgoing candidates for its Street Team that will interact with the general public in an effective and professional manner. The candidate will be an integral part of the Rowdies and all grassroots marketing efforts by attending various events throughout the Tampa Bay area to create more brand awareness of the team. This is a volunteer position. Street team members will be eligible for special events, experiences, contests and more.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Represent the Rowdies at soccer and non-soccer related events such as youth soccer tournaments, community events throughout the Tampa Bay area year round
• Raise awareness and fan support through handouts and promotions at all street team events and lifestyle accounts
• Set up and transport the various elements of the Street team
• Serve as an ambassador to the community to foster goodwill and support of the Rowdies
• Develop new and exciting creative grassroots marketing initiatives
• Act on behalf of the Tampa Bay Rowdies and its respective partners and sponsors with enthusiasm, energy, pride, passion and professionalism

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with internal and external staff, clients and the general public
• Knowledge and interest of the Tampa Bay Rowdies , the NASL, the game of soccer and the Tampa Bay area
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends
• Ability to perform activities with confidence and manage crowds
• Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Candidates must live in the Tampa Bay area.

Team members will be outfitted in official team gear throughout the season.

Game Day Fan Services Volunteer

The Tampa Bay Rowdies are seeking exciting, outgoing volunteers for Game Day Fan Services who will interact with the general public and front office staff in an effective and professional manner.

• Assist with game day set up and break down
• Assist with in-game events and promotions
• Aid staff with special events
• Be an ambassador of Tampa Bay Rowdies character and purpose
