Practice Update
The squad held its final practice of the week in Tampa Bay Thursday morning at Shimberg Fields. FC Tampa Bay flies to Atlanta Friday morning and will hold a final training session in the afternoon following its arrival in Georgia.

FC Tampa Bay and the Silverbacks meet this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Atlanta Silverbacks Park for the final time this season, with the series knotted at 1-1-1. Each team has claimed a victory at home, and the clubs also played to a 1-1 draw in St. Petersburg in the first meeting of the year on April 30.

Saturday’s match opens a stretch of three matches in eight days for FC Tampa Bay, including a road contest at Montreal on Wednesday, August 10 before a home game against NSC Minnesota on Saturday, August 13 at Al Lang Stadium.

Injury Updates
Captain Frankie Sanfilippo, who missed the last two matches because of dehydration symptoms, practiced on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Midfielder Chad Burt, who has missed the last nine league matches with a foot injury, has also returned to practice.

Midfielder Jeremy Christie has trained with the team this week as he continues his recovery from offseason hip surgery.
