FC Tampa Bay continued its practice schedule with a two-hour session at Shimberg Fields Tuesday morning.
FC Tampa Bay travels to Atlanta this Saturday, August 6 to face the Silverbacks at 7:30 p.m. in the final meeting of the season between the two clubs. The series is tied at 1-1-1, with each team owning a victory at home. FCTB and the Silverbacks also played to a 1-1 draw in St. Petersburg in the first meeting of the year on April 30.
"At any point in time, any team can beat anyone on a given day," said FC Tampa Bay assistant coach David Hayes. "It is a must win for us because we have thrown away too many points at home and we still have six road games remaining."
Saturday’s match opens a stretch of three matches in eight days for FC Tampa Bay, including a road contest at Montreal on Wednesday, August 10 before a home game against NSC Minnesota on Saturday, August 13 at Al Lang Stadium.
