FC Tampa Bay today announced that Bright House Sports Network will serve as its official television broadcast partner for the second year in a row and will carry five matches live during the 2011 season.
BHSN will broadcast FC Tampa Bay’s home opener against the Montreal Impact on Saturday, April 9, with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. BHSN will also be broadcasting live the June 4, July 27, August 13 and August 20 games, all kicking off at 7 p.m. on channel 47 and HD 1147.
BHSN anchor J.B. Long will be the play-by-play commentator, along with Bright House Sports Network reporter Victoria Lim handling the sideline duties for all five games, which will air in both the Tampa and Orlando markets. The color analyst for the telecasts will be former Tampa Bay Rowdies goalkeeper Winston DuBose.
