Unveiling of new NASL Soccer Ball:

This NASL match ball was specifically designed for the league by Joma and its red-white-and-blue color scheme and star pattern reflect the iconic heritage of the league.

Notes:
FC Tampa Bay takes on the Strikers for the second time in six days. FC Tampa Bay and the Strikers played to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday night at Lockhart Stadium in the first meeting of the season between the clubs.

Forward Mike Ambersley broke a scoreless tie in the 68th minute when he chipped the ball over Ft. Lauderdale goalkeeper Matt Glaeser after midfielder Tsuyoshi Yoshitake sprung him on a breakaway with a perfect pass. Ft. Lauderdale salvaged a point, though, when midfielder Eduardo Coudet converted a free kick past FCTB rookie goalkeeper Jeff Attinella in second half stoppage time.

Ambersley ranks third in the NASL with six goals, including four in the last four matches.

The Strikers, who enter the match on a seven-game unbeaten streak, have been led by Glaeser, who boasts a league-best 0.63 goals against average, and Coudet, who is tied for fourth in the NASL with five goals.

Post-Game on the Field:
