FC Tampa Bay goalkeeper Jeff Attinella received a phone call on Wednesday afternoon offering him the opportunity of a lifetime.

With FCTB taking the day off in its preparations for this Sunday's home match against Atlanta, Attinella was given the chance to train with the U.S. Men's National Team at One Buccaneer Place Thursday morning as it held its first practice in Tampa. The USMNT will face Panama this Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

"It was an unbelievable experience," said Attinella. "To get the opportunity to train with these guys and take shots from them, and work with Tim Howard, it's something I will never forget. It was an unbelievable learning experience."
