FC Tampa Bay plays just its second road match of the season as it opens a two-game road swing through Minnesota and Edmonton. In its first match away from home in 2011, FCTB played to a scoreless draw at Montreal on April 23.
Notes:
FC Tampa Bay has three shutouts in seven games this season, just one shy of its season total of four in 30 matches last season. Rookie goalkeeper Jeff Attinella was named NASL Defender of the Week on Tuesday after earning his first career shutout in last Saturday’s 3-0 blanking of Montreal at Al Lang Stadium.
NSC Minnesota fell to FC Edmonton 2-1 on Monday, May 23, ending the Stars' four-match unbeaten streak. Forward Kyle Porter scored both of Edmonton’s goals after Minnesota took an early lead with forward Simone Bracalello’s third goal of the season.
