FC Tampa Bay spent two hours at Al Lang Stadium Thursday in its final full practice of the week. The team will hold a brief session at Shimberg Fields Friday morning prior to its match this Saturday, April 30 against Atlanta at Al Lang Stadium.
"We were disappointed in our result a few weeks ago in the loss to Puerto Rico," said head coach Ricky Hill. "It will be exciting to return home for these upcoming three games and we would like to put on a better performance in front of our great fans."
FC Tampa Bay has been impressive on the defensive end in 2011, posting shutouts in two of the first three matches. On the other end of the spectrum on offense, FCTB has had numerous chances but has scored just one goal thus far despite 41 shots.
"Ricky is putting a lot of pressure on us as forwards and outside midfielders to create chances and get the goals," said forward Mike Ambersley. "We can take a lot of positives out of the Montreal game. We moved off the ball very well and we kept possession very well."
