Notes:
FC Tampa Bay is coming off of its first road match in Montreal last weekend. The game ended scoreless in FCTB’s first draw of the 2011 season.
Goalkeeper Daryl Sattler was named the North American Soccer League Defender of the Week after posting his second shutout in three games. He made four saves in the match against Montreal for a total of 17 this season. Sattler leads the NASL in saves and is tied for the second-fewest goals allowed in the league so far.
Atlanta lost 2-1 against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers last Saturday night at Atlanta Silverbacks Park. Strikers forward Martin Nuñez scored early in the 14th minute, but the Silverbacks countered with a goal of their own two minutes later from defender Mario Pérez. The match remained tied until the Strikers scored the game-winner off of a penalty kick in the 87th minute.
