The Tampa Bay Rowdies were crowned champions of the 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl on Saturday, October 27 at Al Lang Stadium, capping off an incredible season.  Throughout the offseason, we will bring you interviews with some of the players from the 2012 squad as they look back on the championship season.

Our fifth interview is with Rowdies forward Mike Ambersley, who finished his second year with the club, having joined Tampa Bay for the 2011 season. The forward started in 27 regular season matches, while starting in four postseason matches in 2012. The St. Louis native led the Rowdies with 25 points and three game-winners this season. He had nine assist, first on team and was tied for first in the NASL in regular season with eight. Ambersley finished second on the team with eight goals in the 2012 season.
