All year long, we will be bringing you up close to members of the Tampa Bay Rowdies team.
In this feature of the 2012 Get to Know the Rowdies, we spotlight midfielder Shane Hill, who is in his second season with Tampa Bay.
In his 2011 season with the Rowdies, Hill played in 16 games with 10 starts and a total of 875 minutes. He scored the game-winner against FC Edmonton (7/27) for his first career goal with the Rowdies.
Shane Hill, who hails from London and is the son of head coach Ricky Hill, previously saw time with the Rushden Diamonds and Sheffield United. Hill was a part of the initial group that trained with FC Tampa Bay trialists at the Liverpool Academy Grounds in December of 2009.
