The Rowdies returned to practice Thursday morning with a two-hour training session at Al Lang Stadium, looking forward to Saturday's match against the Puerto Rico Islanders at Al Lang Stadium.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies lost to first place San Antonio Scorpions on Sunday night by a final score of 4-0 at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio, TX. The Rowdies will host the Puerto Rico Islanders for the final regular season meeting between the clubs on Saturday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Al Lang Stadium. Both the Rowdies and the Puerto Rico Islanders are tied for second place in the NASL standings.

Defender JP Rodrigues comments on this week's practice and his outlook for this weekend.

"Obviously we did not have a great performance on Sunday against San Antonio, so we must bounce back and get 3 points at home. We have been putting the work in doing a lot of defensive work. We've been pretty good in the past about not giving up goals but recently we've got away from that, so that's our main focus to clean it up in the back and get a clean sheet against Puerto Rico like we did the last time we played them here at home."
