A to Z - Everything You Need to Know About Al Lang

As April 9th approaches, FC Tampa Bay gears up to play its first-ever match at Al Lang Stadium. We know fans have a lot of questions about the new policies and procedures that come with a new stadium. But not to worry: We’ve put together an A - Z of everything you need to know about gameday.
 

A Al Lang Stadium Address: 230 1st Street SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
B Box Office–Box office opens three (3) hours before kickoff and will close at halftime
C Concessions– Here are prices at the stadium:
  • Hot Dog: $3.00
  • Chicken Sandwich: $5.00
  • Burger: $4.00
  • All Beer: $5.00 (Draft – Bud and Bud Light; Non-draft – Corona and Corona Light)
  • All Non-Alcoholic Beverages: $3.00 (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Coke Zero, Iced Tea, Hi-C Lemonade, Bottled Water, Bottled Powerade, Coffee, Hot Cocoa)
  • Chips (Potato Chips, Doritos): $1.50
  • Hot Pretzels and Popcorn: $3.00
  • Candy (M+M Plain or Peanut; Snickers), Sunflower Seeds: $2.00
  • Cotton Candy: $4.00
  • Nachos: $3.00
  • Peanuts: $5.00
D From Sarasota/Bradenton: Take I-75 N toward Tampa. Merge onto I-275 N via EXIT 228 toward St Petersburg. Merge onto I-375 via EXIT 23 toward The Pier. Turn slight left onto 4th Ave N/SR595 E. Continue to follow 4th Avenue. Turn right onto 1st St NC. Al Lang is on the right.

From Tampa: Take I-275 S. Merge onto I-375 E via EXIT 23A on the left toward Bay Walk/The Pier. Turn slight left onto 4th Ave N/SR-595 E. Continue to follow 4th Ave N. Al Lang is on the right.

From Orlando: Take 1-4 W via the ramp on the left toward Tampa. Merge onto I-275 S via the exit on the left toward Tampa International Airport/St Petersburg. Merge onto I-375 E via EXIT 23A on the left toward Bay Walk/ The Pier. Turn slight left onto 4th Ave N/SR-595 E. Continue to follow 4th Ave N. Al Lang is on the right.
E Entering the stadium- Fans can enter the stadium through gates on either side of the Box Office.
F Finding Parking- Fans can park in the main parking lot in front of Al Lang Stadium or in the downtown parking garages, including the nearby South Core garage or BayWalk Garage. The main lot opens three (3) hours before the game and the parking garages are open all day. Parking is $5.00 per car for all games, except for Fourth of July, when parking will be $10.
G Gates- Gates open one (1) hour before kickoff
H Home Games– Fourteen (14), including nine (9) Saturdays, two (2) Sundays and Monday, July 4
I Info About Tickets- Tickets are $10 (berm), $14 (general admission), $18 (reserved). For more information or advanced purchasing call (813) 287-1539 or go to www.fctampabay.com.
J Jump on the Downtown Trolley- Look for the bright red and yellow Downtown Looper trolley and hop aboard for just 25 cents. The Downtown Looper passes by Al Lang Stadium, with a stop located at the Hilton, 333 First St. S., every 15 minutes, and circulates between all of the city’s hotels, attractions and major parking facilities.  For shuttle schedules and a downloadable route map, visit www.loopertrolley.com/SchedulesFares.html.
K Kids- Children three (3) years old and under get in free. Please check out fctampabay.com for information on the FC Tampa Bay Kids Club.
L Look out– Please stay alert for soccer balls and other items that may leave the field of play.
M Merchandise - FC Tampa Bay merchandise will be available for purchase on the main concourse each gameday.
N Number of seats – Al Lang Stadium holds more than 7,000 spectators… let’s fill those seats!
O Opener– Saturday April 9th vs. Montreal Impact at 7PM
P Prohibited Items – Please see the list below
Q Questions– If you have any questions at the stadium, please visit our customer service booth on the main concourse.
R Rainy Days– Games may be delayed by lightning, but will not be delayed or postponed due to rain
S Strollers– Sorry, but they are not allowed inside Al Lang Stadium.
T Tailgating- Fans can tailgate in the main parking lot, which opens three (3) hour prior to kickoff, however space is limited.
U Umbrellas– It’s only water! Umbrellas are not allowed inside the stadium
V Vuvuzelas– Absolutely not!On that note, no cow bells either please.
W What to wear- Fans should wear as much green and yellow (and FCTB blue!) as possible and lots of FC Tampa Bay gear
X Get X-CITED for the 2011 season!
Y Yell! – Let’s make some noise and make sure the visiting team hears it
Z Umm… Go FC Tampa Bay!
