Puerto Rico won the first meeting between the teams with a 1-0 victory at Bayamon Soccer Complex in the 2012 season opener on Saturday, April 7.
Tampa Bay has posted one victory, three ties and five losses in the nine matches between the teams since its return in 2010.

In the 2012 season opener, Nicholas Addlery scored in the 69th minute for the Islanders. Puerto Rico played a man down for the final 32 minutes after a red card.
Despite the loss at Ft. Lauderdale last Saturday, the Rowdies are still just five points out of first place in the NASL standings, with co-leaders Minnesota and Puerto Rico leading the way with 17 points. Tampa Bay has 12 points this season, with San Antonio (16 points) and Ft. Lauderdale (13 points) sitting just above it in the table.
Forward Daniel Antoniuk is tied for fourth in the league with four goals and ranks tied for sixth with nine points.
Scouting Puerto Rico
After going undefeated at home last season, the Islanders are still unbeaten in Puerto Rico in 2012, with four wins and one draw in their first five home matches. The Islanders have allowed just seven goals in 2012, the fewest in the league, while their 17 goals are tops in the NASL.
Forward David Foley leads Puerto Rico with five goals, tied for second-best in the league thus far, while Jonathan Fana is ranked tied for fourth in the NASL with 10 points.
