The Tampa Bay Rowdies today announced that they have added defender Josh Suggs on loan from the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer for the entire 2012 NASL season.
The 22-year old Suggs (6-0, 170) hails from Las Cruces, New Mexico and originally joined San Jose on trial in September of 2011. Suggs played for third division Los Angeles Blues in 2011.
Suggs played four years at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California as a midfielder and forward, notching 22 goals and seven assists in his career. He was a three-time All-California Collegiate Athletic Association selection (twice second team and once honorable mention). Suggs was also a member of the New Mexico Olympic Development Program (ODP) state team for five years, captaining the side for three years.
