The Rowdies were back to work at Shimberg Fields for a two-hour practice Monday morning after a day off on Sunday.

With four preseason games remaining, Rowdies Head Coach Ricky Hill is happy with the effort put forth by the players thus far in the Rowdies Rush Preseason Tour.

“I can applaud the players for their efforts in regards to the games that we have had,” said Hill. “We haven't conceded a goal, which is excellent from that perspective.”

Hill was happy with the work ethic during Monday’s practice.

“They approached it very well and we had a fun morning, but also within that fun was hard work,” said Hill.

The Rowdies will be holding a Night Practice this Tuesday, March 20 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Countryside Sportsplex in Clearwater (3060 McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater, FL 33761) and hosted by Chargers Soccer Club.

The Rowdies Rush Preseason Tour continues this Wednesday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. when Tampa Bay United North hosts a match between the Rowdies and UCF. The exhibition match will be played at the Ed Radice Complex in Citrus Park. The complex is located on 14720 Ed Radice Drive in Tampa (33626) and admission is free.

Following the Rowdies preseason game on Wednesday night, the club will hold morning sessions on Thursday and Friday at the Shimberg Fields.

The Rowdies then meet the USF Bulls this Saturday, March 24 at USF Corbett Soccer Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets in advance are $5 via www.ticketmaster.com and $7 general admission day of the game. Seatback chairs are $8 in advance and $10 day of the game. There will also be a youth clinic prior to the game from 6-7 p.m., featuring former Tampa Bay Rowdies as well as USF coaches and players. The clinic and a general admission ticket costs $10 for kids ages 7-13. To purchase in advance call 813-974-8937.
