Practice Update: Day 4 of Week 2
Posted on Thu, Mar 10, 2011

FC Tampa Bay practice was called off this morning due to the heavy downpour around the Bay area. But the rain didn't stop Head Coach Ricky Hill from getting the squad's strength and conditioning practice in at the Athlete's Compound at Saddlebrook Resort.

The squad worked with Strength and Conditioning coach Jason Riley, who has worked with numerous world-class athletes including Derek Jeter, John Isner, Maria Sharapova, Tommy Haas and the Real Salt Lake soccer team. Riley most recently helped train Isner, who lasted 11 hours and five minutes over a period of three days during a match at Wimbledon in 2010, as his strength and conditioning coach. Riley's comprehensive background and coaching experience have earned him recognition as a leader in the field of performance coaching among professional, amateur and junior athletes.
