It was another warm, sunny morning for the FC Tampa Bay players as they took to the field preparing for the Florida Gulf Coast University preseason match this Saturday, March 19. The game will take place at Brandon Area Youth Soccer League at 4 p.m. and admission is free.
The main focus for Head Coach Ricky Hill today was short passes in front of the goal with different techniques to finish, starting off with right foot strikes followed by left foot strikes and finishing with headers.
"The players have worked very hard and earned every session," said Hill. "I think they've enjoyed the preseason so far."
At the end of the practice, the players were excited to find a cold ice pool to jump into to relax and cool off. While some players jumped in the ice pool others played a game of crossbar challenge, which ended with the loser picking up and carrying all of the equipment from practice.
