The Tampa Bay Rowdies would like to hear from our fans and submit to us information on anyone they think should be an honorary Team Captain for the 2012 season.

Tampa Bay recognized one of St. Petersburg's finest at its first-ever playoff game this past October when it welcomed Donna Crawford, the widow of fallen police officer David Crawford. David Crawford was killed in the line of duty this past February. Donna Crawford served as the team's honorary captain for the postseason match at Al Lang Stadium.
And prior to a game last season, the club and its fans saluted a special group of young athletes from Blaze Sports Tampa Bay and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
The team also welcomed two special youngsters in Kai Meredith and Cameron Hester, who both have been inspirations to the entire community with their fighting spirit and courage as they battle illnesses.
We are always on the look out for community heroes but please let us know if there is someone out there in the Tampa Bay area that should we honor.
