FC Tampa Bay announces the transfer of Aaron Wheeler, whose contract option was exercised at the end of the season by FC Tampa Bay, to Miami FC.

In his first professional season, Wheeler played in 19 matches for FC Tampa Bay, scored four goals and had one assist, which ranked him third on the squad for goals and points (9). Wheeler was sidelined during the middle of the season after suffering an injury while playing against the Puerto Rico Islanders on June 19th but returned to play toward the end of the 2010 season.

• Midfielder Long Tan is currently training with the Vancouver Whitecaps in its MLS camp as a result of the July 2010 trade between Vancouver and Tampa Bay which brought Ricardo Sanchez and Jonny Steele to Tampa Bay.
• Midfielder Jonny Steele was in training recently at Hearts, currently third place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League of Scotland, and MK Dons of League One in England.
